So if I Ask

I believe that we humans think, but nothing of us is made up by our own.
We are consisting the tit bits of all the people we meet in our life, we carry some of their parts and move on to live our life thinking, it is ours but it is not. I am made up of you, you are made up of me.
So if I ask,

Will I be able to borrow your smile
For a while I am not having mine
If I feel hurried
Can I borrow some of your calm
And let go of what is buried
To wait for this time to pass
To be able to break the society’s
Low grade glass.
So if I ask,
Will I be able to borrow your hope
Till I am not able to cope
If I feel lost
In the rumours that
I can’t breach this cage
Made by the one who betrayed
Can I borrow some of your courage
As this soldier is left with rifle of single round
With all the anxiety around.
So if I ask,
Will I be able to borrow your faith
As I have forgotten my pray
If I feel too loud
Can I borrow some of your silence
To hear the whisper of the wind
That it is soon taking me where I belong
If I lose my believe in light
Can I borrow the glitter of your eyes
for my blurred gaze to admire
the dark of these nights.
So if I ask,
Will I be able to borrow your love
'Cause I am not feeling it this time
Nah, I am not here to whine
I just wanna be little hid,
not in a mood to shine
If I feel less alive
Can I borrow some of your life
If I lose my learnings of wrong
Will you stand up and show me the right
‘Cause no matter how much
I believe it all going in vain
Whatever is lost, whatever is denied
Has taken me up, all to my destined gain. <3
